Recruiting and Visitors

As with all choirs large and small, we suffer the same problem, “Natural Wastage”.  People move away, their work pattern changes, they have other commitments etc., so we are always on the look out for new choristers, to ensure that the balance and tone of the choir is maintained up to its usual high standard.

The Aims of the choir

Ø To Achieve the highest possible standard in choral singing.

Ø To produce and perform a balanced repertoire.

Ø To assist with fund raising for local and other charities.

Ø For personal pleasure and comradeship.

If you have a love of music, and are prepared to give the commitment, we would be very pleased to hear from you, so do not hesitate any longer, contact our secretary who’s address is at the bottom of this page. You will of course be expected to meet the following conditions.

  1.      Regular attendance at rehearsals – Wednesday and Friday evenings from 7.30 to 9.0pm.

2.      You must also make a commitment to attend as many concert engagements as possible.

If you feel that you would like to know more about the choir before committing yourself, why not come along to one of our rehearsals, which are held in Seion Newydd Chapel Vestry, Tir-Penry Street, Morriston, on the evenings and times shown above.  Visitors are always very welcome, or if you prefer, contact our general secretary on: p 01639 637932

If you are unable to join the choir, perhaps you would like to become a patron?  If so could you please contact our patron  secretary Bernard Bond on p 01792 416838
